My name is Karen Gilmore. I have had 15 years experience in the entertainment business to date, travelling countrywide as both a solo act and with various band line-ups. I have performed to both big and small audiences and in most situations to include festivals, various pub/club circuits, corporate and charity events.
I currently dep as a solo act for various entertainment agencies and sing at private events, as well as being the lead vocalist for Swansong. I am also the main promoter of the band and are responsible for the band's website development to include all graphic design and artwork.

Wayne has been playing the guitar for last fifteen years in in various bands and as a solo act, playing in most major venues throughout South Yorkshire. During this time, he played guitar for a band called DB5 for four years and also had three successful years with a Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band called 'Red Hot Chili Powder'. Following this and various bands later, In 2002, he joined an outfit called The Futurists from Sheffield/New Zealand which is an ongoing project.
Apart from working with The Futurists and being the man who gives Swansong its 'unique' sound, he writes and records contemporary pieces of music for short films and has had success with this.

Lol played for numerous pub and club bands throughout the 70s, playing chart material. He joined the rock scene and began working professionally in 1970 as the drummer for several rock outfits throughout the country.
Lol then took a break in the 80s to concentrate on his career, but missing the music scene, he started depping for various bands playing most genres ranging from rock, jazz, blues and funk. This continued until his retirement from the music business, but this didn't last!
Lol joined Blues 'n Grazed in 2002, replacing the original drummer (Wayne Meakin - who now drummer for The Stones.name / Stoned Angels - Rolling Stones tribute band) and following that, The Karen Gilmore Band. Around the same time, Lol began drumming for Willie Brown's Rhythm Method, who have since disbanded and Steve Cosgrove (former guitarist for Blues 'n Graized) is now in a blues band based in Sheffield.Lol is currently locking down the rhythm for Swansong and long may it continue.
Nigel started playing bass and acoustic guitar in pubs and clubs in the early 1970s. After a break he began playing again in 1990, writing and composing his own material and following this, First Fall was formed (acoustic guitar and Karen Gilmore on vocals). He then joined Blues 'n Graized until 2002. Various band involvements followed, including The Karen Gilmore Band, until he joined Willie Brown's Rhythm Method for a couple of years who have since disbanded.
Nigel is a very talented singer/songwriter who is yet to realise his full potential. However, there is talk of Swansong taking on some new material which is where Nigel will come into his own!
Nigel is essentially the 'rock' of the outfit, as well as his role as the bass player, he also takes the reigns of the bands' lighting and sound control.
